Can You Make a Card with That?!

To make the chipboard page into a card, I cut a piece of printed cardstock to size, then scored it at 1/2" from the top. I used a tape runner to attach that scored flap to the back of the chipboard page, thus making a hinge. And TA-DA, a card!
I added a photo of my friend Beverly and me, which covered up the ends of the brads, and a sentiment to the inside. Now, this card is ready to go!

Stacker Collections

I ended up using parts from several Easter Stacker Collections to make this page. Can you see how I attached the transparency from one of the monogram sets to the top of the flower? Cool, huh?! I also used the Celebrating transparency from another set, and the cross from yet another!
What can you make from your Stackers?

Ahoy Matey!
I used Rusty Pickle paper and the MOSD Pirate Stacker Collection, plus some other pirate themed items from the craft store. I bound my album with the NEW spiral rings, in black.

Here is a closeup of the MOSD Pirate Stacker Collection.

The Countdown is on...
For all your holiday pictures...why not try a Christmas Stacker set? Use them alone on a layout or with one of our albums. Either way, you can't go wrong!
Want to make your gift a little more personalized? Try a Build A Book. You can choose the word. These are especially nice for those hard-to-find names. Just ask my daughter, Bailee!
Need some stocking stuffers or something for your secret santa? Stick ons make a great option! They come in so many shapes and sizes, you'll want to try a few of each!!
For those pictures you want to set on your desk, try a Clearly Designed Desk Top Album.
The possibilities are endless...so let your creativity be your guide. Need to know where to find these items? Try our Retail Locator. MOSD prides ourselves on excellent customer service and products, so if you see something that your retailer doesn't have, let them know we can get it for them with very low minimums!!
Happy Holidays!

The Thanksgiving Stacker Collection

This was from Thanksgiving 2006 - I was the hostess and cooked my very first Thanksgiving Dinner! I had plenty of direction from my Mom and help where it counted most from my Husband. There was no way on earth I was reaching in that bird and pulling out the innards.
This collection is available to retailers and will be sent to our talented designers in December! Keep checking for more great ideas using the Thanksgiving Collection!

ZOOM ZOOM ZOOM
I used my Cricut Expressions to cut out the title "Built Tough" (Graphically Speaking cartridge) and then attached it to the clear cover of a Hip 2 Be Square album.
I used the Adventure Monogram Stacker on the reverse side of the clear cover. Then I placed the Transportation Intricacies on the first chipboard page of the album. (The letters were cut using the Cricut Expression and Schoolbook cartridge.) A few of the Intricacies were pop-dotted to give added dimension. As you can see, I was digging into my Basic Grey paper stash again! Let me assure you, I have LOTS more!
Each page of the album has definitions and Stick-On pictograms. I copied the definitions out of my trusty dictionary and printed them out onto cardstock, using a newsprint font. All the letters for the vehicles were cut using the Crictut, but you could simply use letter stickers.

Here is the top view.
I kept this book very simple with all the focus on the pictures and definitions. This 6x6 album will make a cute gift for any little boy who loves things that go ZOOM!

School Memories
I found these photos from Jonah's first year of preschool (2003-2004) and thought he was so CUTE back then. Notice his hair! He cut his own hair the night before Picture Day! (I scrapped the 8x10 portrait already - to better tell THAT story!) And yes, although we have homeschooled since 1999, I still sent THIS child out to preK for 2 years! The "hair cut story" is just the tip of the iceberg!
My inspiration for this layout was a Becky Fleck PageMap (pictured). The sketch is on Becky's Blog as a CK Call. I had thought to enter the contest, but failed to read the fine print which said it was for the May/June issue. A school layout is not appropriate for a spring issue! That's why you get to see the layout today!
To create the layout, I used part of the Edger from the School Days Collection. I cut it apart and only used about half if it. I inked it up to give it dimension, and then added some sticker numbers to the book spine for the date. I also used the transparency from the School Topper for my title. I also added some red and black Twirly Gigs around my journaling block (circle?).
Thanks for looking!
