However, I'm spending a lot of time this summer in meetings at the office. We have one woman who takes care of EVERYTHING at the office, including prepping for all of my meetings. I made this little hanging for her just to let her know that I appreciate all the help she gives me. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_zkv74JAGAF4/TETVuourfmI/AAAAAAAAAog/zhwfrseoPLI/s1600/CIMG0972.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="340" hw="true" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_zkv74JAGAF4/TETVuourfmI/AAAAAAAAAog/zhwfrseoPLI/s400/CIMG0972.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><br />
I used the Perfectly Shaped circle scallop page for the background, which I painted with a few colors of acrylic paint. Then I layered on a piece of the flower Intricacy that I spritzed with Glimmer Mist. I layered on some flowers and made the title with some alphas in my stash.<br />
<br />
This little hanger came together so quickly using the MOSD products!<br />
<br />
Stay tuned to see what the rest of the design team has to share...<br />

Gotta love computers-huh?! So I am a couple days late-sorry!) <div><div><div><div><div><div></div><div>So for the boys T-ball coach who was an OUTSTANDING coach I wanted to do something really special to thank him for all he has done for the boys so I grabbed my trusty MOSD products and some of the new super fun BoBunny paper and began creating away! I made a mini album for the coach with various pictures I had taken during the season showing just how involved and dedicated the coach was to the kids. I started with <a href="http://www.mosdinc.com/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=98_99">Perfectly Shaped Build A Book Pages</a>, I added one of the <a href="http://www.mosdinc.com/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=60">Clearly Designed Album pages</a>, I thought the <a href="http://www.mosdinc.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=79_105&products_id=620">Razzle Dazzle Cover Up in black</a> looked a lot like the chain link fences at the baseball fields so I used that on a page, I also added a piece of the <a href="http://www.mosdinc.com/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=95">Star Intricacy Paper</a> with a <a href="http://www.mosdinc.com/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=71">Clearly Stated Transparency </a>over it. This was SO much fun to put together and there are SO many <a href="http://www.mosdinc.com/">MOSD products </a>that can mixed and matched to create one of your own! The coach was beyond touched and was speechless upon receiving such a personal gift! Wow I cannot believe how quickly this year has gone by. We are half we through already, and even though it's summer in the USA it's when I begin to think about the Joys of Christmas. The family parties and lets not forget that Christmas Shopping List. Well in early celebration of Christmas I created a Banner using <a href="http://www.mosdinc.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=98_99_101&products_id=537" style="color: #cc0000;">MOSD Perfectly Shaped Home Plate</a>. I turned the Shapes upside down and viola a banner was created I also loved how easy it was to stitch the pattern paper right onto the Home Plate.Doloreshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07650311859075006887noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8987124801278134810.post-82554104354774096542010-07-05T09:00:00.002-04:002010-07-05T09:00:04.800-04:00God's Love and Joy...<div align="center"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Uti5sqsaH3c/TCtKZNMy0wI/AAAAAAAAFgc/a5cf3Zk45Gs/s1600/100_9112.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" ru="true" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Uti5sqsaH3c/TCtKZNMy0wI/AAAAAAAAFgc/a5cf3Zk45Gs/s320/100_9112.jpg" /></a></div></div><div align="center">Friends of ours were recently blessed with a</div><div align="center">sweet baby boy</div><div align="center">so I just had to make them a precious card</div><div align="center">to congratulate them.</div><div align="center">With the help of <span style="color: #cc0000;">MOSD</span>,</div><div align="center">you can see how gorgeous</div><div align="center">this sweetly simple card turned out to be.</div><div align="center">I used the <span style="color: #cc0000;"><strong>"Babies and Children" Clearly Stated transparencies</strong></span></div><div align="center">for the inside of my card</div><div align="center">and the <span style="color: #cc0000;"><strong>"Baby of Mine" Topper</strong></span> for the cover.<br />

I've been out of synch for a while and am happy that I've had some time to create recently...<br />
<br />
I was looking through my stash and thinking about my hubby...and saw one of the AWESOME shaped chipboard MINI BOOK pages I have in my stash...I turned it here and there and thought...HMMMMM...if I hold it a certain way, it reminds me of a house...now I'm sure this isn't the first time this shape has taken on the shape of a house, but my idea took shape as I also looked at some of the other shapes...I LOVE the layered look when I make mini albums, and some of the other chipboard SHAPES make it SO EASY to layer!<br />

Amy here with today's blog post. Today I am doing things a bit different than usual. This project is actually not created by me! It's created by Kayla, my 10 year old daughter. Their 4th grade class had to create a tri-fold based on The Oregon Trail. Kayla had the bright idea of incorporating some wonderful MOSD products into her demonstration! </span></div><span style="color:#000000;"></span><br /><div align="center"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_1uKD3euZX0M/TBrN3pYUlxI/AAAAAAAABZs/lOkNHvDT9Tc/s1600/KaylaOregonTrail5thGRADE.JPG"><span style="color:#000000;"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 294px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5483921852161365778" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_1uKD3euZX0M/TBrN3pYUlxI/AAAAAAAABZs/lOkNHvDT9Tc/s320/KaylaOregonTrail5thGRADE.JPG" /></span></a><span style="color:#000000;"> One item that she has been eyeballing for a long time are these spinners. She used the </span><a href="http://www.mosdinc.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=98_99_101&products_id=554"><span style="color:#990000;">Perfectly Shaped - Retro Spinner</span></a><span style="color:#000000;">. It's been covered in black cardstock and can easily be spun by younger kids (smaller hands) with the ribbon she attached to the back. This added an interactive aspect to the tri-fold that makes people interested in seeing what comes next when they spin it! </span></div><div align="center"><br /><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_1uKD3euZX0M/TBrNx6lkS0I/AAAAAAAABZk/GRmOFJnRQ3w/s1600/KaylaOregonTrail5thGRADE+(3).JPG"><span style="color:#000000;"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 272px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5483921753701108546" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_1uKD3euZX0M/TBrNx6lkS0I/AAAAAAAABZk/GRmOFJnRQ3w/s320/KaylaOregonTrail5thGRADE+(3).JPG" /></span></a><span style="color:#000000;">Another fun thing she did was cover MOSD </span><a href="http://www.mosdinc.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=98_99_101&products_id=546"><span style="color:#990000;">Perfectly Shaped - Circle</span></a><span style="color:#000000;"><span style="color:#990000;">s</span> with lined paper and wrote her paragraphs on those as opposed to just a regular piece of paper. This added a visual interest and draws the readers eyes to the questions at hand. She used 3 perfectly shaped circles for this.</span><br /><br /><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_1uKD3euZX0M/TBrNqwes5LI/AAAAAAAABZc/A5Bm8scgXcM/s1600/KaylaOregonTrail5thGRADE+(2).JPG"><span style="color:#000000;"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 280px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5483921630728873138" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_1uKD3euZX0M/TBrNqwes5LI/AAAAAAAABZc/A5Bm8scgXcM/s320/KaylaOregonTrail5thGRADE+(2).JPG" /></span></a><span style="color:#000000;"><br />Overall I think she did a fabulous job on this school project, and she loved the fact that she got to incorporate some MOSD product into it. By posting this I wanted to show how versatile MOSD products are and that everyone can use them!! So next time you have a project that needs a little extra oomph, why not grab some MOSD goodness and spice it up a bit?!<br /></span><br /><span style="color:#000000;">Thanks for stopping by today and checking out what I (or in this case, my daughter) has been up to! It's Naureen with a fun chipboard album project. So I was inspired by another scrapper that used these same papers on a mini album. Since I had some Basic Grey Urban Prarie left in my stash, I knew it would be just enough to make a chipboard album for a friend. This actually is a suprise for her, she doesn't even know it's coming! This album was fun and easy to do. Here are the supplies you will need to make one just like it! Amy here today sharing with you my latest MOSD creation. Every time I look at MOSD products I get inspired. Inspired to play, and hey, that's what this world of crafting is all about right?! One of my favorite MOSD products are the Chipboard Perfectly Shaped Build a Book pages. When you have these in your stash the possibilities are endless as to what you can do. They are so versatile and fun. For this month's project I decided to use the Perfectly Shaped Build a Book pages to create a shadow box to highlight my DS and some of his current loves.</span></div><br /><span style="color:#000000;"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 286px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5470594742275288002" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_1uKD3euZX0M/S-t07wNwK8I/AAAAAAAABTY/56NS48rRy3w/s400/002.JPG" /> </span><p align="center"><span style="color:#000000;">To create the shadow box I used 2 </span><a href="http://www.mosdinc.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=98_99_101&products_id=548"><strong><span style="color:#990000;">Perfectly Shaped - mini scallop</span></strong></a><span style="color:#000000;"> pages for the front and back. I started out with the idea of using the </span><a href="http://www.mosdinc.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=79_87&products_id=600"><span style="color:#000000;"><strong><span style="color:#990000;">MOSD Picto Gram Cement Truck</span></strong> </span></a><span style="color:#000000;">stick on and built my box around that. What I love about these stick ons is how easy they are to work with. I simply applied the stick on to a piece of cardstock and used colored pencils to give it a pop of color. I Added silver pearls for tire centers and I was done in no time. Not to mention it compliments the Sassafras Apple Jack papers I used perfectly!!</span></p><p align="center"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_1uKD3euZX0M/S-t02PxPGbI/AAAAAAAABTQ/aXxnUqQx-Gk/s1600/010.JPG"><span style="color:#000000;"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 286px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5470594647666399666" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_1uKD3euZX0M/S-t02PxPGbI/AAAAAAAABTQ/aXxnUqQx-Gk/s400/010.JPG" /></span></a><span style="color:#000000;"><br />Here is a side view to give you an idea of the depth of the box. It's amazing what all these Perfectly Shaped Build a Book pages can do. They are sturdy and easy to work with, making crafting with them a pleasure! <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_zkv74JAGAF4/S9C7VkQW4zI/AAAAAAAAAUQ/09F2_uChzKc/s1600/P4221863.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_zkv74JAGAF4/S9C7VkQW4zI/AAAAAAAAAUQ/09F2_uChzKc/s400/P4221863.JPG" width="330" wt="true" /></a></div><br />
I covered the chipboard book pages with scraps of paper and then layered the star Intricacy on the front. I chose chipboard pieces that were different sizes so you could see the interior patterend paper peeking through the front. I joined the two pages using black brads and added a sentiment with my Dymo label maker. <br />
<br />
This card is for our Little Brother Tristan, who is about to turn 14 and thinks he is a rock-star ladies man!Ericahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14305964192051203317noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8987124801278134810.post-74025199026834800232010-04-21T10:00:00.000-04:002010-04-21T22:04:36.945-04:00Creating With Stick On Twirly Gigs<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_KojoKkA7IoA/S8-ujFfr_NI/AAAAAAAACgY/ZrrE7nx-pfI/s1600/hello+oa+mosd.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5462776790817438930" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 220px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_KojoKkA7IoA/S8-ujFfr_NI/AAAAAAAACgY/ZrrE7nx-pfI/s320/hello+oa+mosd.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><div>For my project this month, I used some of the <a href="http://www.mosdinc.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=79_82&products_id=475">Twirly Gigs</a> Stick Ons. It's Amy here, and I would like to welcome you to the MOSD blog today. I am so excited that it's finally spring, and to celebrate I wanted to create something bright and fun that represented my family. So....Sassafras meet MOSD! I decided that a mini book would be the perfect project. This mini book was created using 6 </span><a href="http://www.mosdinc.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=98_99_101&products_id=541"><strong><span style="color:#990000;">Build a Book Concave</span></strong></a><span style="color:#000000;"> pages. What I like about these pages is the fact that they are so sturdy and they don't come with the holes pre-punched. That way you can choose where you want the bindings to be! How awesome is that?! The concave shape is quite unique. It definitely captures your attention!</span></div><span style="color:#000000;"></span><br /><div align="center"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_1uKD3euZX0M/S8lPVa32RhI/AAAAAAAABNk/RsLks2leb5k/s1600/025.JPG"><span style="color:#000000;"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5460983252572849682" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_1uKD3euZX0M/S8lPVa32RhI/AAAAAAAABNk/RsLks2leb5k/s400/025.JPG" /></span></a><span style="color:#000000;"> For this mini book I focused on my family and who we were in the year 2010. We haven't filled out the pages yet, but we will get to that! I think it will be fun to look back at this book in the years to come and see how much we have all changed! I had used the flipped out acrylic album recently but didn't use all the pieces, I had one sheet left. So I decided to use it on a layout. I stamped flourishes using Staz-on ink added some pearls and put my photos underneath the acrylic as a cover. I loved the end result, I didn't want to add pattern papers because I felt it would take away from the acrylic and the design of the layout. Oh and I love big titles on a layout too.Doloreshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07650311859075006887noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8987124801278134810.post-49671914558057123652010-04-09T10:29:00.004-04:002010-04-09T10:57:19.193-04:00Its Baseball season!So I thought in honor of the opening of baseball season I would use some MOSD baseball items. And in preparation of my little guys playing T-Ball this year I decided to get caught up on scrapping some of their pictures from T-Ball 2 years ago! (YES I am WAY behind in my scrapping-LOL!!)<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 397px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5458146102359703746" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_-Ce6g5lyngc/S7869itVQMI/AAAAAAAABQA/tueI43HsHl8/s400/101_0140.jpg" /><br /><br /><p>So for this layout I used the <a href="http://www.mosdinc.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=95&products_id=486"><strong>MOSD Baseball Intricacy</strong></a><strong> </strong>and to have the intricacy have a "dirty baseball field" feel to it I sprayed it with Vanilla Breeze Glimmer Mist and then after a minute I blotted and rubbed the mist into the paper for subtle yet "grungy" look to the paper. Next I used a <a href="http://www.mosdinc.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=98_99_101&products_id=537"><strong>MOSD Perfectly Shaped Home Plate page</strong></a><strong> </strong>and I inked the edges of it with My Mind's Eye ink using a lighter and darker brown. I used some Basic Gray paper and naked chipboard as well as some Thickers and had this layout done quickly! </p><p>If you too have special baseball pictures that you want to scrap a GREAT purchase would be the <a href="http://www.mosdinc.com/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=6_38"><strong>MOSD Baseball collection!</strong></a> It comes with the <strong><a href="http://www.mosdinc.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=6_38&products_id=486">baseball intricacy</a></strong>, <strong><a href="http://www.mosdinc.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=6_38&products_id=200">play ball topper</a></strong>, <strong><a href="http://www.mosdinc.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=6_38&products_id=220">baseball monogram</a></strong>, and a <strong><a href="http://www.mosdinc.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=6_38&products_id=240">baseball edger</a></strong>! Add a couple of the <strong><a href="http://www.mosdinc.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=98_99_101&products_id=537">Perfectly shaped home plate pages </a></strong>and you can create a couple layouts of your own! So now go grab up some of these fun MOSD products and create your own pages today!</p><p>TFL!</p><p>Valerie</p>Valerie Chmielakhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03664649162947509124noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8987124801278134810.post-64628462175532232412010-04-05T11:02:00.002-04:002010-04-05T11:08:42.563-04:00Perfectly Shaped... I know they were created with layouts in mind, however they are awesome for cards too!<br /><br />I created a 'school days' card using <a href="http://www.mosdinc.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=98_99_101&products_id=540"> MOSD Perfectly Shaped - Pudgy Rectangle</a> and School Days Edger.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_PgUuvtuY-LA/S7UdGdvjZsI/AAAAAAAABts/VKbXdsGOdVA/s1600/school-days-card.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 234px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_PgUuvtuY-LA/S7UdGdvjZsI/AAAAAAAABts/VKbXdsGOdVA/s320/school-days-card.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5455298520529725122" /></a><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_PgUuvtuY-LA/S7UdG855BPI/AAAAAAAABt0/uWFnMC-n2UI/s1600/school-days-detail.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 213px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_PgUuvtuY-LA/S7UdG855BPI/AAAAAAAABt0/uWFnMC-n2UI/s320/school-days-detail.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5455298528894584050" /></a><br /><br />I started with a pre-made card, covered it with patterned paper.<br /><br />Trimmed the <a href="http://www.mosdinc.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=98_99_101&products_id=540"> MOSD Perfectly Shaped - Pudgy Rectangle</a> to 5.25 wide by 4; I added patterned paper and then attached it to the pre-made card using pop dots.<br /><br />I trimmed the MOSD School Days Edger to fit on the <a href="http://www.mosdinc.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=98_99_101&products_id=540"> MOSD Perfectly Shaped - Pudgy Rectangle</a>; I added pop dots under the apple die cuts and then outlined the School Days Edger.<br /><br />I trimmed the transparency words from the School Days Edger kit and attached them to the <a href="http://www.mosdinc.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=98_99_101&products_id=540"> MOSD Perfectly Shaped - Pudgy Rectangle</a> using Making Memories green staples.<br /><br />Finally, I added a Quickutz die cut owl, two Fancy Pants pins tied with black sheer ribbon.<br /><br />With the end of the school year rapidly approaching, I think this would be a great card for my DS's third great teacher!<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_PgUuvtuY-LA/S7UdGdvjZsI/AAAAAAAABts/VKbXdsGOdVA/s1600/school-days-card.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 234px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_PgUuvtuY-LA/S7UdGdvjZsI/AAAAAAAABts/VKbXdsGOdVA/s320/school-days-card.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5455298520529725122" /></a><br /><br /><br />Thanks for stoppin' by the MOSD Blog!<br /><br /><a href="http://www.mylivesignature.com/" target="_blank"><img style="BORDER-RIGHT: 0px; BORDER-TOP: 0px; BACKGROUND: none transparent scroll repeat 0% 0%; BORDER-LEFT: 0px; BORDER-BOTTOM: 0px" src="http://signatures.mylivesignature.com/54487/66/33470AA5A9FFC7F403B33A5606087AF6.png" /></a>Carolyn Lontinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11101834731931176851noreply@blogger.com4
