Beach Fun Indeed!

We spend so much time at our local

theme park where there is a mock beach

and super fun waterpark during the summer.

Of course, you KNOW I have tons of pictures!

Extreme Stick Ons

I confess to being a hoarder. I've been hanging on to this Extreme Boy paper for a while now, waiting for just the right project. Well, these Halloween pictures of my eldest son seemed to call out for this paper. So then the next question - how to embellish? Well, I reached into my pack of MOSD Stick Ons. I used three different Stick Ons to create a graffiti look among the pictures. I started with the Skateboard Stick On. By using some acrylic paint, some fussy cutting and Stickles, I was able to create one cool board embellie. I added an arrow and a Journal Bits Stick On to complete the look. I love how this turned out! How will you use your Stick Ons?

ok I think by now you know how MUCH we LOOOOOOOVE the Stick On's! But I wanted to share some new layouts with you using them. The cool thing is the Stick On's can be cut, altered, inked, you name it-- Here are a few layouts with the Stick on's






Journaling blocks can be used for titles--not just for journaling!
They take the chalk inks from Versamark and can be tinted, aged or stamped!
The Swirly Flourish Stick on's can be cut into many pieces to fit your project or
the look you're going for! The trick is to cut them apart before you take them off
the backing paper to make your own configuration like I did on the Fall Festival layout!

Hip to Be Square....who wants to be hip?

If anyone has ever lived in Boston or visited you know how important the Boston Red Sox are to the fans. Well Fenway Park where the Red Sox play their home games is as important also. My husband got the chance to take a back stage tour of Fenway this summer and of course he had his camera in hand and got some great shots.

I used the Hip To Be Square album to create this fun memory album for my DH. I drilled holes using his drill press to to make room for me to stitch the threads on the baseball on the front cover. The album acrylic is so easy to make holes in and using the drill press was super fun. I just felt so handy....lol. I used acrylic paint to create the baseball and then stitched with red thread to finish it off.

On this page I used the Journaling Bits Stick ONn, some paper strips and some Cosmo Cricket Get Happy paper. Here is a view of the page that is under the acrylic cover. I love how you can see the Fenway sign in the top right of the cover.

This next page uses more Journaling Bits and the Stick On Parentheses. Some other fun touches and this page was done. I cut a circle out with my 3 inch punch and the Journaling Bits fit just perfect in the middle.

For this last page I used a MOSD Monogram "T" for Tradition. I cut out a circle again with my punch and pop dotted this embellishment off the page.

One last thing...this album is so easy to make and so quick to put together. I can see some coordinating papers with some holiday photos, maybe you can paint a Christmas Tree on the front, poke some holes and add brads or bling as ornaments. How about giving this a try and giving one to a friend or family member as a gift this holiday season. My little book is going in my Mini Album Bowl that sits on my coffee table.
