Seasons Greetings everyone. Today I am bringing you a mini acrylic/chipboard album that I made as a gift for my niece. These mini albums are fun, quick, and an easy to make. My album was made with Basic Grey's Indian Summer line. I kept the album basic and I plan on adding pictures and some more embelishments with my niece after she receives it on Christmas day. I hope you enjoy this quick and easy gift idea!

Decorating with Intricasies

Hello lovelies! It's Amy here to share with you today. Here on the MOSD blog we are celebrating the Holidays and we are doing it up in style using the fabulous MOSD products.
I have a very quick and easy project to show you. Something that you can throw together for those last minute decorations or even give as gifts. I created candle shades using MOSD Stars Intricasy. These Intricasies come in 4 amazing colors or you can even request a special color if you so wish! They are 11" x 11" - Just the perfect size!! For these candle shades I used one Intricasy cut in half then painted it red & silver and then added glitter. It was that easy!! I made these candle shades so they are removable. That way I can change them out for the Seasons. I am already planning my Valentines covers using the MOSD Hearts Intricasy. They are so adorable!

One thing that I love about using Intricasies for these shades is what they look like when the candles are lit and the lights are out. They create pretty little shadows on your walls. That just makes me smile!

Look how pretty that is!
Thank you for stopping by the blog today. Make sure to keep checking back for more awesome Holiday ideas. The DT is rockin' them out, huh?! I hope you all have an absolutely wonderful Holiday Season full of love and mucho happiness!

Happy Holidays!!!

Hi everyone!! I hope you all are having a great holiday season so far!! I just can't believe how fast this month is going by!! Christmas is exactly 10 days away!!! I am super excited for the projects that I have for you today! I hope it will give you some ideas and inspire all of your crafty holiday projects!!! There is plenty of inspiration on this blog. My fellow design team members are very talented and creative!! Makesure to visit often for some awesome ideas!!
For this month I decided to create a holiday card and tags/ornaments. First is the holiday card that I created with two pieces of MOSD Perfectly Shaped chipboard in the Scalloped Circle shape. The card swings open to either side. The next two items I have for you can be both a gift tag or an ornament. I created these using the MOSD Clearly Designed Acrylic Take Along album. This album is 3x4 in size. The pieces are perfect for ornaments and gift tags. The adhesive that I used and it worked perfectly with the acrylic is Glossy Accents by Ranger Industries. It doesn't even show! I used white acrylic paint to "ink" the edges, because I wanted a snowy effect. I attached a bell and some cranberries to embellish them.
I hope that these projects have given you some ideas on how to use these awesome MOSD products!! Visit the MOSD website for more products and ideas! Visit the MOD SQUAD's personal blogs for some great inspiration and ideas!! I wish everyone a joyous and blessed holiday season!!! See ya next year! :)

Festive Favorites

One theme workin' here at MOSD this month is
"Holiday Traditions."
When I think of any holiday,
I think of FOOD!  Oh yea!
I have favorite recipes of certain family members
that make the holidays "the holidays,"
especially when it comes to eating. he he he.
*

Following this theme, I decided to create a little keepsake
of all of our favorite festive recipes.
I used the Mini Flip Cover 2 Cover album by MOSD.
*

The red binding rings, also by MOSD, worked wonderfully
with this festive patterned paper!
*

For each and every page of this treasured keepsake,
visit my blog here...
You will also read more on how
I created the fun pages my album.
*

The acrylic covers to this album
make it so fun to use all sorts of colors
and decorative elements.
I love how each show through "clearly!"
*

On behalf of the fabulous MOD Squad,
Merry Christmas
and blessings for the new year!

Mini Merry Christmas

Cute and mini - what a great combo! Check out the MOSD Cover to Cover Petite Album!

The MOSD Cover to Cover Petite Album is a 2 X 2 album that comes with 2 clear covers and 4 chipboard pages. The album comes with a length of ball chain so you can attach finished projects to your keys, purse or crop bag.

I used scraps from my December 2009 Crop Addict kit to make this fun, festive mini Christmas book:

Thanks for stopping by the MOSD blog & I hope your family has a wonderful holiday season!

EssenseVibez in the houzzzeeeeee!!!-Coming to you with my project for the month of November {late post, sorry}--first let me say, I got this idea from someone in my Google reader and forgot to write her name down---so if anyone knows who I’m talking about, let me know so I can give her the credit for this fun idea—

okay back to my project--let me ask you a question—-to those of you who go to serious crops or have your personal crops—do you get tired of lugging your huge stamp binder???--you know the one’s you know you’re not going to use?—plus it’s taking up a bunch of space when you can have something else in that spot--
CHECK THIS OUT!

This is my handy dandy MOSD stamp holder—to make my cover, I took 4 panels from the CLEARLY DESIGNED EASEL package and used some warped line rub-ons at the bottom and letter rub-ons to make the word STAMPS—Now, something I did a lil’ different this time with my minibook--I used some KARLA DUDLEY DIGITAL PRODUCTS {papers} and I adhered my circle then added a circle tag with an exclamation point on top for my excitement!—

I used some PERFECT PEARLS POWDER mist to make my splatters on the page underneath the front acrylic page and on the back of the cover—Cut some beautiful olive green card-stock {or you can use some decorative patterned paper} to back up the acrylic pages--

Then I placed my clear stamps on the acrylic pages and viola!--I can take only the stamps I know I'm going to use on my project at the crop--

Look simple enough huh? ---trust me; it was easy peesy to make!
Now check this out, if you happen to make one of these stamp holders—let us know—We'd love to see it!

And as always, if you’re interested in any of the MOSD products {which I know you are} please go to the link located on the left sidebar and take a look at what they have to offer---Oh yeah and do leave us comments and tell us what you think of our projects—We’d love to hear from all of you--

Enjoy our other design team members creations as you peruse our blog--
Remain Blessed!!!

Memories of Fall...

As we enter this wintry season,
we can still be excited about our memories of FALL.
That is one thing I cherish about scrapbooking...
we can preserve any of our memories
anytime of the year!
*
With this album, I used all sorts of MOSD goodness!
To create this eye-catching layered look,
I used several different "Build a Book" elements.
For further details than what I am sharing here,
*

Seen in the photo above,
each right hand side of my book utilizes a different
"Perfectly Shaped Build a Book" element
from Midnight Oil Scrapbook Designs.
Although each one may be difficult to spot in the photo,
here is the order in which I used my pages...
TABBED SCALLOP
BOW TIE
CONCAVED
MOON EDGE
SQUARE
*

*

*

The spine of my album uses
ALL THE SAME
BUILD A BOOK PIECES.
As you can see, I used the
PERFECTLY SHAPED TABBED piece.
I did this so that the book itself would be uniform
and I could easily insert my
SPIRAL BINDING RINGS
(also a MOSD product!)
*

Covered easily with my patterned paper,
you can see I still have plenty of room for more photos.
And the possibility for adding more pages
with other "Perfectly Shaped" pages is endless!
*

*

I added even more eye candy
by allowing some of my embellishing elements
hang slightly off the page
such as I did with my two hearts seen above.
*

*

*

I used a Crop-a-dile to punch through
my entire album once I was ready to bind it.
MOSD's SPIRAL BINDING RINGS
are easier than easy to use!
(and I seriously mean that!)
I love how they glide right into my mini albums.
