Extreme Stick Ons

I confess to being a hoarder. I've been hanging on to this Extreme Boy paper for a while now, waiting for just the right project. Well, these Halloween pictures of my eldest son seemed to call out for this paper. So then the next question - how to embellish? Well, I reached into my pack of MOSD Stick Ons. I used three different Stick Ons to create a graffiti look among the pictures. I started with the Skateboard Stick On. By using some acrylic paint, some fussy cutting and Stickles, I was able to create one cool board embellie. I added an arrow and a Journal Bits Stick On to complete the look. I love how this turned out! How will you use your Stick Ons?

I'm back - well for today anyway. I would like to thank Maryfrances for all her wonderful inspiration and guest blog posts throughout December. How lucky were we? We will be keeping tabs on Maryfrances and I am certain (if we have our way) that you will see her around the blog again.

I am also thrilled to let you know that Suzy Molen - one of our wonderful product designers and the creator of the 'Intricacy' will now be blogging on Mondays. So you only have to put up with my non-project 'info' blog posts for one more day - LOL!

Finally, I want to make sure that everyone knows....stay tuned...CHA is just around the corner and MOSD has a lot of great products and ideas that are being released. CHA is January 25-28th in Anaheim, CA. But don't worry you don't have to attend to get the 'skinny'. As promised...

I told you last Sunday that I would give ya some tips on what to do with the outer circles of your stick ons...well here ya go!

Remember when bling circles were so popular? Well, what about using stick ons instead? They are so easy to use...and alterable! The best part, you have the rest of the inner portion of the stick on to use on other projects. Here's a hint: When removing only portions of your stick on, make sure to only scratch THAT part of it...or cut it out. Either way works great!

So let's see what you come up with...

My Own Take On It!

Today I was at the mall with my boys doing some shopping while they spend their Christmas money & I saw the cutest Twilight keychain at the bookstore. Now, I LOVE Twilight & instantly picked it up & then thought to myself "I can make this!". I came home and printed an image off of the internet and adhered it between the front and back acrylic cover of the petite Midnight Oil keychain album. I then added a cute heart brad and a black ribbon on the keychain & tada!!!! My own handmade Twilight keychain! You could do this with any image. It doesn't have to be an actual photo & could be your favorite book, movie, pet breed, etc.... Have fun & be sure to post your own creations & who knows I might check back and send someone a prize!

It's a Girl Thing! Plus some Blog Candy!

To start off the New Year, I thought I'd go a little girlie and sparkly on you! Yesterday I was looking at some old Stampin' Up stamps in my bin...and they were all girlie and cute. So I got the idea of making this mini pizza box. (For directions on making the box, visit the Scor-Pal website.) I made the box out of a small sheet of red Bazzill cardstock (approx. 6x11 inches), and embellished it with a Stick-Ons Pictogram and some Stickles.


The rhinestone flower came in a big pack from the craft store! I cut the scallop circle with a Nestabilities die and my Big Shot machine. The "Le Chic" stamp is from a Close to My Heart stamp set.

Don't you love that nail polish Stick-Ons? I also stamped the girlie border stamps and colored them with colored pencil and placed the images around the edges of the box.

This makes a cute little gift or a party favor! Check out what fits inside!

Happiest of New Years to everyone! MOSD has some amazing things in store for you in the upcoming 2009 and I have no doubt that you're going to be ooohing and ahhhing over every bit of it! but that's all I can say :) Just keeping watching the blog in January and you're sure to see some fantastic sneak peeks of New CHA products closer to Winter CHA!

Have you made your new calendar for 2009 yet? If not or if you're thinking you'd like to make one for a gift here's an idea for you--Using the cool Digi templates from BW Scrapbooking for the big boy album, a freebie calendar brush that I picked up on the internet Created by Aisne Smith and also another freebie pattern paper created by "Designs by Angelica E." that I got off the internet, some ink, Technique Tuesday Ali Edwards Stamps, some ribbon,stickles and some copper paper from my stash :) If you're not into to digi, then you can always use one of the fantastic calendar stamps or print off small ones from the internet to have the same effect! You can go simple like I did and just use stamping and stickles or you can embellish each page heavily--it's up to you, you can totally customize it! On my version I went with all sepia photos, copper and neutral colors.
