Love Ya!

You can probably tell that the design team all received Valentine's Intricacies in their DT box this month! I used my red heart intricacy to make this layout of my youngest son and me. The photo is from 2002. I love this picture of us together. I don't have a lot of memories of cuddling this boy, as he was always on the move! So this quiet moment is precious!

I used some buttons from my stash that matched his shorts! (I am pretty sure the buttons came from my LSS club kit.) I also found a scallop blade for my Fiskars trimmer to use on this layout! It's amazing what you find in your stash if you just bother to look! The bling title has been in my stash for a while as well.

It's a Girl Thing! Plus some Blog Candy!

To start off the New Year, I thought I'd go a little girlie and sparkly on you! Yesterday I was looking at some old Stampin' Up stamps in my bin...and they were all girlie and cute. So I got the idea of making this mini pizza box. (For directions on making the box, visit the Scor-Pal website.) I made the box out of a small sheet of red Bazzill cardstock (approx. 6x11 inches), and embellished it with a Stick-Ons Pictogram and some Stickles.


The rhinestone flower came in a big pack from the craft store! I cut the scallop circle with a Nestabilities die and my Big Shot machine. The "Le Chic" stamp is from a Close to My Heart stamp set.

Don't you love that nail polish Stick-Ons? I also stamped the girlie border stamps and colored them with colored pencil and placed the images around the edges of the box.

This makes a cute little gift or a party favor! Check out what fits inside!

Gift Tags

As we've seen here on the blog lately, MOSD products are VERY versatile! You are about to see more!

I had a Cover to Cover Mini Flip album in my stash and was wondering what to make with it. This album is approx. 4x3 inches, has two clear covers, and 6 chipboard pages. All the pages are 3-hole punched to accommodate three rings on the 4 inch side. Hmmmm what to make what to make what to make?

I ended up with 8 gift tags! Check them out! This first one has a stamped and embossed tree (Stampin' Up) and a Bo Bunny embellishment.

This next tag is very simple - just some Daisy D's paper, a Creative Cafe felt flower, some rick rack, a button, and some charms.

This tag looks complicated, but it's not. The paper is "pre-collaged" Daisy D's paper, some lace ribbon, a K&Company tag, some rick rack and gold cord, and a fancy flower from Walmart!

This one required a bit more product, but is still pretty simple. The paper is K&Company, and comes with the script already printed on it! The tag is also from K&Company. The tree is a Cosmo Cricket chipboard piece, covered with a scrap of Basic Grey paper, then sprayed with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist. The swirl is a Bo Bunny cardstock sticker and the stamp is from Inkadinkado. And then I tied on a bit of Stampin' Up ribbon.

And because I love the Glimmer Mist, I sprayed this gold cardstock with it! The chipboard stocking and paper is Cosmo Cricket, embellished with a gold pen and a glitter pen.

This next tag is my favorite of the bunch! The papers were out of my scrap bin. To match the purple (in real life the colors match better than here!) I sprayed the chipboard key and the paper flower with Glimmer Mist. It's very sparkly and rich looking! Love it.

Then again, this one is also my favorite! This tag is one of the clear covers, edged with white paint. The paper and die cut are K&Company. The pink paper was edged with a Martha Stewart punch. The snowflakes are MOSD Stick-Ons, embellished with Stickles glitter glue. The jewel brad is from Creative Imaginations.

This last tag is the other clear cover, edged with white paint. The Basic Grey paper is just a tad smaller than the tag. The snowflakes are MOSD Stick-Ons, again embellished with Stickles. I added a Bo Bunny tag, some silver cord, and a scrap of ribbon.

Snow Time Album!

As I was sitting here at my kitchen table watching some fat snowflakes fall to the ground, I was reminded of a snow album I had done for MOSD using the easel album. This was one of my very favorite albums! I loved the way the glittery snowflakes, gems, transparencies, and snow photos all worked so well against the acrylic pages. It was just a perfect match! So be sure to take some snow photos this season and use an acrylic album to showcase them.

Stick ons with a side of Bling...

Love the Stick ons! The flourishes are perfect for just about any layout and the fun addition of a little bling to accent the flourishes :) what could be better?
I love the fact that I don't have to worry about little bits and pieces flaking off like regular rubons and they are a whole lot easier to apply to your projects! Check with your local retailer and ask them to stock the MOSD Stick On's
